Dr. Kanya completed her Doctor of Medicine degree from Mahidol University and received a Diploma of the Thai Board of Neurology. She completed neurology residency training from the Division of Neurology, Mahidol University in 2008.
Dr. Kanya is not only a highly recognized neurologist in the Neurological Society of Thailand, but she is also a highly recognized member of the Thai Medical Council, Medical Association of Thailand as well as Thai Stroke Society. She has been interested in the field of neurodegenerative disorder and sleep medicine over the past 5 years. She regularly attends both local and international conferences and training to keep abreast of the best therapy and treatments.
During her training, Dr. Kanya was always fascinated by the importance of early recognition of treatable neurological diseases and the alleviation of pain and discomfort that can be offered in many incurable neurological diseases, provided proper diagnosis is reached. With her specialty in neurology at Bangkok Hospital Phuket, she has proved to be an enthusiastic academic researcher who is keen on developing programs for neurological disease prevention and brain health enhancement, with an ultimate goal to offer world–class neurology care to all her clients.
