  • Professional Background & Qualifications Dr. Captain completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mahidol University, followed by a residency training program at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital. He then finished his sub-specialist vitreoretinal training from Siriraj Medical University in 2008.

    Dr. Captain was highly recognized among the Thai ophthalmologist society as a modern-generation ophthalmologist who has a lot of experience of lens replacement surgery (Cataract/RLE surgery), using modern premium lens implants (especially multifocal lens implant).

    In 2010, Dr. Captain was recognized by Alcon Laboratories (Thailand) Ltd. (one of the world’s largest multifocal lens manufacturers) as a top user of Multifocal IOLs in Thailand. He has been invited by many conferences to serve as a main speaker for topics related to multifocal lens implant surgery. He also received a Certificate of Attendance from the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons in 2011. In 2008, he was appointed as a full-time eye specialist, and has eventually become the Chief Medical Director of the Bright View Center, Bangkok Hospital Phuket.
